On Friday, we had our first memorable moment of the year. These are planned throughout the year to start the topic off with a bang and inspire them to find out more. It is a mixture of play, STEM, English and art. Our topic this half-term is the Mediterranean. We started the morning using play to explore sand, build Lego boats, investigate and research maps and fact books. After lunch, we made ice cream and created some more artwork for a display looking at shades and tones of colours. Hopefully the children had as much fun as I did!
